The Hour-glass Sanatorium is a 1973 Polish film directed by Wojciech Has. In the film Jozef visits his father Jakub at his deathbed. In the sanatorium time appears to behave in unpredictable ways. Jozef finds himself in a dream-like world which reanimates the past. In which he is constantly looking for his father.
